Americorps helped return $83 million to working class Americans through their tax return assistance program. Weird how the Trump admin cut the program that helped poor people pay fewer taxes, while bending over backwards to give massive tax breaks to billionaires. Very populist.

Challenges remain. If injunctions are overturned by higher courts then dollars spent by grantees will have to be returned. Reinstating members to interrupted terms has no process & not all mbrs have been helped. Some programs cut in April are supposedly funded for next year but who really knows? 5/5
