sorry if I confused you! you were correct. 1 artist & 1 writer team up. for a big bang, the writer writes at least 20,000 words & the artist does 2 complete illustrations for that 1 fic. for a mini bang, the writer writes 2000 - 3000 words and the artist does 1 complete illustration. sometimes, if there are too many people signed up and the numbers don't work out perfectly, an artist may have 2 writers, or a writer may have 2 artists. last year I wrote a fic for an artist. another writer also wrote for that artist. so that artist got 2 writers :D you can also pre-pair up with a writer if you want! that way you know who you are working with. there are instructions for signing up as a team :)

saw a 'meditative doodles' yt short & thought I'd give it a try. not beautiful, but it doesn't have to be. first time using washi tape! fun to peel :)

rarepair fest fic info I want to put something up every day for the rarepair fest, but I more want to have fun with it and not stress about it, so the streak probably breaks tomorrow. I have a VERY stupid fic for Oct 17, and then nothing again until Oct 21, but that one's 6000 words long. Sooooooo... that's the plan :) I hope everyone has been enjoying the rarepair fest so far!

I don't usually put little unfinished bits of fic up anywhere but, here, have this: what if Murderbot and a pocket-sized bit of ART (a pocketART, if you will) went through a wormhole or something and landed on Cybertron. Murderbot's first look at/interaction with a Cybertronian, sans all necessary things like establishing the scene, motivation, etc: It stood with its back to me, bipedal, about four meters tall, with a lot of metal parts whose function I could not discern. Initial scans indicated a power source in its chest, which I'd never encountered in real life, but is a bad sign in all the media. It smelled like... like something I'd never smelled before. It smelled like if electricity were a gel, or if static were a solvent. It smelled really weird, is what I'm saying. Not bad, just weird. Its whole body is a feed, I said to pocketART. Or like, a million little feeds from all over feeding into one megafeed, which comprised the data/incorporeal part of its being. Like if every cell in a human had its own personal nerve to the brain, and it was constantly screaming. Should I ping it? No, said pocketART. I pinged it.
