They were the best of times... 😂

Developed asbestos hands. My colleague welded a french tray to her forearm. They have perforations and she was left was a scar of dots in rows up her arm. Ouch indeed.

I may have a set of those... Always wanted lanterns but never got them. We weren't allowed the tree lights on long cause they cost too much electric. Thank goodness for LEDs.

I used to be a baker. I had four huge deck ovens you had to pre-heat at 3am while the loaves proved. Invariably the ovens wouldn't steam, so you'd have to chuck a jug of water in, avoiding the bread and slam the door shut before it got you.

Once or twice got a loaf tin stuck on my arm knocking out.

Even lights from 10 or 15 years ago whiff of danger now - big heavy power blocks and wires for days.

I got to the point of "This isn't going to beat me" so was in a proper strop 😆

I'm grieving my cat so I can cry at anything right now. Crying can be therapeutic though.

The dog is the star. A celebration of love.

Not bad thanks, Lee. Been an at home day today. Done a few jobs. Put a rug down in the bedroom to make it cosier. Put some hooks on the bathroom wall for clean towels. Had a tidy round. Took the broken lights off the Christmas tree and fitted a replacement set ready for December. Telly now x
