Just got the final stats for my first half marathon! I came in 1383 out of 1386, and my time was 4:44:22, with an average pace of 21:42 minutes per mile. After a week of recovery, I’m ready to begin training for my next race: the (rescheduled) Bowlegs 5K!

Went to see #Intersellar at the IMAX last week. It still has a powerful effect on me, 10 years later. I stick to my original thesis that the movie serves as an allegory for the death of a parent, told from the perspective of both the parent and the child.

The FERA conference is over, but I’ve decided to extend my time in Orlando and treat myself to an early birthday weekend. Today will be spent lounging in this hotel bed, watching movies, and ordering room service.

Went to Philly for a conference this past week. Didn’t get to do much sightseeing, but I DID manage to squeeze out a quick trip to Harriet’s Bookshop!
