Waited on James Galway when I worked at a bookstore. Really nice guy, but the credit card he used wasn’t the brand he was hawking in ads at the time. I refrained from bringing that up.

Shared an elevator in the women’s dorm in college with Chuck Mangione (and his daughter and his PA or body guard). His daughter and I had some classes together, so I kind of ignored her Dad and just chatted with her.
