What to think of XDS Astana? You got to tip your cap for the team in 2025. Safely, in the end, part of the 18 best teams after the 3-year cycle. 4th best team in the 2025 rankings! Sure they are worse in 2026. The question is how much worse. At best 8th right now, is my thought.

Unfortunately for the French team. They are too good to be in the 2nd division. Isabella Holmgren already looks like a future world champion.

Extremely happy with this result. Turned out i was seeing the 15 WorldTeams very well. The only faux pas was Team Picnic. Ranked them 6th before season, they ended up 13th. Team has lost to many prominent riders last couple of years, and finally couldn't replace them from within. Team collapsed.

As i'm not able to see into the future. Ignoring Blasi, Bossuyt and Hartmann because they were signed or moved teams during the season. That being said, couldn't beat last years 89 correct. But only one away for 2025, 88 correct. Starting to think that my goal of 100 of 120 is impossible.

Must adjust my thoughts on what an elite rider is to a team. Pidcock scored 3889 UCI-points by himself. But he also made his teammates much better. Team scored over 8000 points. Elite riders impact on a team larger than i thought. Lesson learned for the future.

I agree Steve. Loosing Onley would be devastating for Team Picnic. One of a very few really good riders on that team.
