Thread trying to correctly predict the ranking of UCI Womens World Teams in 2026. The UCI Team Ranking is what counts. Best 8 riders total points is the rule.

Who is going to be the best team in the world? Now more than ever a rhetorical question. Anyway, this is a thread trying to predict the ranking of the 18 WorldTour teams for the 2026 season. Best 20 riders total points on each team is counted.

Now that Premier Tech has left Sylvan Adams WorldTeam. The Canadian company decided to sponsor St Michel - Preference Home - Auber93 in the 2nd division. Team already signed three Canadians. I guess the Normand sisters is next.

Rumours say that Bahrain is ditching Merida in favor of Bianchi. Damn, was glad i'd not see that Oltre RC ugliness, until now. Even crazier rumours is that Soudal - QuickStep is changing bike after 2026, to Merida. New Merida model coming, that the Belgian team had a say in designing? Otherwise why?

New American ProTeam Modern Adventure Pro Cycling released list of contracted riders. And it's not that impressive of a bunch. But, i guess you got to start somewhere. Brothers Hincapie central in the team. Have them in the bottom half of ProTeam ranking at first glance. Final ranking comes in Dec.

Alison Jackson going to St Michel-Preference Home-Auber 93 is a strange one. The connection must be Cannondale.

With the expected merger between Lotto and Intermarche teams in place. Though not yet ratified. A silent but fierce fight is taking place between Uno-X and Cofidis. Right now the Norwegian team is leading. Winner gets the final WorldTour spot coming 3 years.

Official now. All three teams of Arkea B&B Hotels is seizing operations. Do not know what happens to Anders Foldager next year. But i'm sure if he was going to Uno-X, it would have been made public by now. But Embret Svestad Bårdseng should be a rider the Norwegian team goes after.

Is Tom Pidcock riding on a Pinarello? Q36.5 changing bike suppliers next year?

As expected, Simone Boilard went back to her previous team St Michel. Also thought Cofidis was the other frontrunner. Watch her have above 500 uci-points in 2026. Procycling is weird that way!

I believe Movistar Team is below average in getting the most out of their riders. Alejandro Valverde did win despite that. Let's see if Cian Uijtdebroeks can do the same.

Zoe Bäckstedt is milking every U-23 medal for all it's worth. Could be a major tell. But that is just raw speculation.

Pogacar getting caught 2min 30sec by Evenepoel is THE stat of the day.

This is worth mentioning. As soon as Tom Pidcock leaves INEOS, he races to third in the Vuelta. My theory is that INEOS is smothering their riders in whatever strategy the team is using. I believe the team therefore is fundamentally flawed.

Uno-X not signing Kasper Asgreen, and that is a good thing.

New sponsor CMA CGM, a French shipping and logistics company, is clearly increasing the teams budget. I'm sure the teams long term goal is winning Tour de France with Paul Seixas within 5 years. Do the team think that Olav Kooij is capable of winning Paris-Roubaix?

Cofidis signed a very good, slightly anonymous, name today in Kristyna Burlova. Not yet really fulfilled her potential. Assuming she is a fit on the French team she will be a revelation next year.

Finally, teams seems to have learned that towing SD Worx and Lorena Wiebes to the finish leads to loosing. Let SD Worx chase down the break alone if they can.

Is the Alpecin-Deceuninck team broke or something? Scaling back of experienced good riders. Even more now a two man team.

Decathlon CMA CGM can't/won't sign Godon, Berthet and Tronchon. And then goes out and signs Tiesj Benoot.
Major❓❓❓❓❓
Feels at best a lateral move. At worse a major step back. I'm perplexed.

If Talia Appleton is not signed by the Liv AlUla Jayco organization... Right now both teams are sliding into oblivion. They desperately need something to get the organization back on track. Youthful exuberance could be one catalyst.

Would really really like it if Derek Gee moves to any team not named INEOS Grenadiers.
