"Why won't you write about Trump's terrible nominees!?"

These are the last six pieces I wrote. Five are about Trump's nominations.

Look, I don't mind if you don't like a piece. No one likes everything. But I do mind if you make dumb objections without checking. 🤷‍♂️

North Carolina will be sued.
The North Carolina General Assembly’s GOP supermajority just approved a hugely corrupt power grab, seizing authority from the governor and the courts to prevent any meaningful check on legislative abuses. Authoritarian stuff. A very dark day for democracy in NC. amp.newsobserver.com/news/politic...

Home insurance in areas hit by repetitive disasters is going to be the number one housing affordability issue over the next 4 years. And possibly going into the midterms.

More so than interest rates. Florida in particular is going to have huge problems.
Here in Florida we have a housing crisis of our own - developers are building affordable homes all around, but many are sitting empty because people can't afford the necessary home insurance.

What sticks in my mind about Charles Kushner, Trump's nominee to be ambassador to France, is that he targeted a brother-in-law who was cooperating with authorities in the criminal case against him, hiring a prostitute to seduce him so he could be intimidated into silence. His sister's husband.

I'm curious. During the campaign, fact-checkers routinely dinged the Harris campaign for calling Project 2025 Trump's playbook, saying "Trump has denied this."

Have any of them admitted how badly they got rolled in the most obvious of ways?
During the campaign, Donald Trump swore he had “nothing to do with” Project 2025. Now, as president-elect, Trump has filled his administration with people who have ties to the right-wing policy blueprint that would overhaul the federal government. nyti.ms/3BhAxxA

It is almost like this was predictable and yet there seems to be no self-reflection by the legacy media. Perhaps that is why they are losing trust, influence and customers.
