I experience the exact same thing! For many years, my dreams will reuse these "sets". At this point, I feel like I could draw a GTA5 sized map of that alternate world.

Whenever I see a device in that kind of shape, I can't tell if it's because it was loved a lot or not enough.

Of course, one big reason why I kept going back to using Rogue is that if I perform her hyper-combo finish, I can just turn away from the machine and echo, "Good night, suga!" to my opponent like movie heroes that walk away from an explosion.

I also love that her taunt, like Sakura's and Chun-Li's, causes damage. Soicj personality developed into her for those games...or at least X-Men Vs. Street Fighter.

But there are things about her personality in the game I love... Like that she's her own hype man. The announcer warns, "READY" and Rogue echoes, "Get ready!!"

I had a TG-16 and loved it! Other than Bonk and Alien Crush, I didn't have much access to other titles on the platform. Maybe a few that I was able to borrow from friends here and there. I'm super excited to view this video exploration of games I've missed and appreciate what I've lost.

This is all about broadcast TV. The voices of the hosts being cancelled will find their own independent platforms with greater power.

I often feel like, what the fuck...why isn't the opposition fighting harder or being more effective? But then I figure it's because despite their talk, they have the same interests or leverage against them that keeps them complicit. 😢 I can only hope that's just my Gen X cynicism talking...
