It seems every couple of weeks, some critter comes to visit me outside my warehouse door. This week was a rat snake I named Speedbump, cuz that's what he almost was. He was full of sass and not interested in my bullshit. (Got my first snake bite!)

Dammit... They say don't judge a book by its cover and I found that true of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - The Dog of War. Everything suggested I'd get a corgi Borg, but that NEVER happens. In fact, NO dog Borg as the cover suggests. 😡

Got to meet Lenore Zann this past weekend! Rogue is my main in the Vs. games, so her voice has a permanent residence in my ears. Hard to see, but she signed the controls of my MvsC2 arcade cab, "Good night, Suga! Lenore Zann aka Rogue". 🤩

Though, unlike most beach towns we've been to like Myrtle Beach, we expected a high MAGA presence, but were impressed how minimized that is in that area. More often we'd see things like this...

Had a hell of a time vacationing at Dollywood last week! Easily in our top 5 theme parks we've visited. The surrounding area was like the mountain towns we've already visited mixed with the tourist traps of Myrtle Beach.

I think I only got Steam cuz it was required to install Portal, but I guess World of Goo was the killer app that got me to finally buy something.

My eagle-eyed daughter spotted this little troublemaker sleeping along our neighborhood trail. I didn't want any dogs or small children to stumble upon it, so I poked it with my kid's herping hook until it found better cover.

Pics are coming out of the upcoming Star Trek attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood. I have a few of my own that I saw of it being constructed.
I do hope this is a semipermanent feature so that I may be able to see it all next time I'm out there.

We had a phenomenal trip out to Southern California this past week! Spent time with family and friends, toured movie studios and my old haunts, and had a great time in some tide pools...
