I putter with pottery. And play tetris with airplanes. Card carrying leftie. If you could make money from napping, I’d be a millionaire.
If the #rapture could happen before we’re all forced to listen to the American Buffon ramble, stumble bluster and make shit up for the next hour, that would be great.

@richardosman1.bsky.social your books are a great treat to read. Just finished book 3 of the Thursday Murder Club. Cant wait to listen to book 4. I almost bawled when Steven didn’t want to play chess, and I laughed my ass off when Ron went for a massage. Honestly, the murders are so secondary to it.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's who love, nurture and accept their children unconditionally 💐❤️.

Thinking of those who celebrate, those who mourn and those who carry complicated stories to heavy to tell.

Wishing all of you gentleness, care and the love you seek.

Is Rhea Perlman the unnatural successor to Linda Lavin? I can see it working. I’d prefer it without the laughtrack tho. #midcenturymodern

Finished “the borrowed life of Frederick Fife”.
I don’t know if it was my mood, this traumatic timeline we’re living or what, but good gawd, I loved it. I laughed and bawled and was consumed by it. Thanks to Anna Johnston and the narrator Tim Carroll for my best read of the year so far. #booksky

Halfway thru “the borrowed life of Frederick Fife” and I’m excited to continue the journey tonight. #booksky it’s a lovely little breath of fresh air that’s made me laugh out loud and cry all within 10 pages.

I’m gonna make my first luminary house tomorrow. Got all the slabs sliced up and drying. Going for an mcm kinda vibe - brick sides, rectangular windows, with a flat roof and a square chimney. Here goes nothing.

2 of many attempts for the cutest little vase for my niece. Don’t think ive got “the one” yet, but i was happy with how these turned out. So they’ll b added to my home collection.plainsman black clay, black and white slip, clear glaze and my first attempt at chattering. #pottery #vase #progressing

My first go at donuts. Black clay black glaze with a fast white dip at the end. Definitely a good learning experience and much like the 3 bears, one too fat, one too skinny and one just right. #pottery #donuts

Was jazzed up to hit the studio today and I got some good glazing done. Then I sat down at the wheel and it just went so downhill so quickly. Couldn’t center, or couldn’t get centered, after my 2nd lump I figured I’d try some trimming. Better but still off my game. So I pulled chute. Maybe tomorrow.

The base snapped off on this wine cup after bisque but I thought I’d finish it anyways and as frustrated as I was with my glazing that day it’s turned out better than I expected. Somedays u just gotta trust the process and go with your gut.

Listen to your children read. Read to your children. Read alongside your children. Take them to libraries. Talk about what reading means to you & what it can unlock.
Tell them it doesn’t matter if it’s comics, magazines or books as long as they’re engaged with the written word. #WorldBookDay
