What I just noticed today is that nets are height adjustable and they have basketballs available for everyone’s use.

Today, August 30, is my Canada-versary!
50 years ago my family came to Canada from a fishing town on the shores of Lake Victoria in Tanzania. Not a day goes by without me thinking that we won the lottery of life the day we landed in this beautiful country.
Thank you Canada. Thank you Calgary.

Today, August 30, is my Canada-versary!

TIL: Since around 2010, Copenhagen has introduced smart features like tilted trash bins along bike lanes, allowing cyclists to dispose of waste without stopping. This thoughtful infrastructure supports a cleaner environment. Something for @cityofcalgary-rss.bsky.social to consider? #yycbike
