I don’t recognise much “Labour” in this Labour Party. It’s something when your supposedly middle of the lot LibDems are further left than the supposedly left wing party. Labour are brilliant at appealing to pretty much no one.

It was clumsy by the Beeb in the first place, but not wildly inaccurate. Apologising is politically expedient, but utterly right not to pay him a dime. It won’t go to court. He knows he will lose if it does and will result in a lot of dirty linen being aired.

Yup the BBC and its “verify”service are a danger to his (and his UK side-kick Farage) ability to pedal disinformation. I’m nervous that about the pressure it will now be under and the agenda it may be forced to follow.
