That part bothers me less because he was just scary good at living as a brand and if there's one thing that we know will hurt him it's the fact that nothing can ever have his name on it again.

I'm not really. I'm answering the question you asked based on the people in his orbit who are still alive and reeling, that's all. I think it would be unfair to speculate whether he might have known given the number of people who didn't, and the fact that we can't ask him.

There were a lot of people that he was apparently very close to who are currently alive who are very shaken and surprised and even heartbroken about this. So yes I think he could have hidden it from Terry too. And I think it's unfair to speculate seeing as Terry's not here to ask.

I wrote a character as a filler character because I'm writing something that has to involve a lot of people. Within two lines he was my favorite character and I kept him forever
