Helped this little fledgling tawny frogmouth today 💚Found them in the middle of a path pretending to be a branch, so after talking to the wildlife rescue people and the vet I picked them up and put them on a tree branch where it made more sense 😅

Ancient Gondwana forest. It’s high on the escarpment so mostly it’s misty cloud forest, but on the weekend it was clear and sunny. Amazing place #GumbaynggirrCountry #Ebor

Found the biggest moth I’ve ever seen - its black and white striped body was thicker and longer than any of my fingers 😳 I think its a giant wood moth 🤔
