Song of Achilles. The midpoint is such a perfect high, yet the ending is so infamously tragic, I haven't been able to bring myself to finish it yet. In my world, Achilles and Patroclus are happily together.
Does anyone else start a book, get halfway through it, and then just stop reading it for some reason EVEN THOUGH YOU LIKE THE BOOK

This is the worst trap I’ve ever repeatedly fallen for since “made you look” yet it feels exactly the same.
The worst thing about being active on two social media platforms is that when I finally escape the urge to scroll on one, I realize a minute later that I've just started scrolling on the other one.

The amount of FOMO I feel at not living anywhere near Bert’s Books 📚
Tomorrow is the first day of #BertVent!

Every day I’ll reveal one of my favourite books of the year, and if you happen to come into the shop and be the first person to spend £20 on books, you’ll get that day’s book to unwrap and take home!

The best advice I ever got as a writer was that I should think of my novel as an elephant. There's only way to eat an elephant, and that's one bite at a time. No elephants were harmed in this metaphor. #WritingCommunity #booksky #Sci-Fi

When it's dark o'clock in the morning and you can't sleep, what do you watch to mellow your brain out?

I watch Riverdance (live in New York 1997). There's something about percussive noise that soothes.
