The United States has downgraded its travel advisory for China from Level 3 (Reconsider travel) to Level 2 (Exercise increased caution).
This comes a day after Beijing released 3 Americans in a prison swap.

Hong Kong remains at Level 2, Macau at Level 3

My only real frustration here is how difficult it is to follow someone back from notifications. Once you follow them, it doesn’t change the status in any way. I don’t want to miss anyone!

Benny Tai, a scholar at the heart of Hong Kong’s biggest national security trial, was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Tuesday. Other sentences in the case, which crushed the pro-democracy camp here, ranged from just over 4 to more than 7 years in prison.

📌31 pleaded guilty. 14 were convicted after trial
