The bill for my brother wasn't for his birth but for an illness when he was 2. He was in the hospital for for days in 1979 and the bill was $844. It was probably for one of the many times he had pneumonia.

In 1973, the hospital billed $445 and there are additonal bills for $300 for the OB, $5 for a chest x-ray, and $50 for the anesthesiologist. My mother was in the hospital for 4 days.

It will be a couple more weeks. I did see Sandor Claws at the mall. Maybe the reindeer were waiting for him on the roof, I couldn't see up there.
