I just got the mail that hasn't been delivered all week and now I have to go through all my Informed Delivery emails to make sure there isn't anything still missing. I'm beginning to think I need to have the mail held and just go pick it up once a week, at least through the holidays.

Last night I had a nightmare about a tornado 🌪️ and some kittens 🐈. (i rescued the kittens, don't worry!) While I was lying awake, I remembered a few people and cats I hadn't seen on here in awhile. So of course I had to check on them and all had recently posted, I just hadn't seen their posts.

😢 I'm sure she's thrilled to be moving back to CA but I'm so sad to see her go.
I was told by multiple meteorologists on multiple channels that the snow today would start around 4-5pm. Imagine my surprise when I went out to do a curbside pickup at NOON and it was snowing. It's been light snow all day but I wanted to get home before dark so I didn't make the stops I had planned.

It's pretty ridiculous that the roads are completely clear of snow and ice but the parking lot at the mall is a skating rink. Do they not want customers?

The roads look bad, the mall has not even bothered to plow or salt the parking lot, and the store manager is basically bullying people into coming in. We have no customers!

Well, it's snowing, but so far there's only a dusting on the grass so there's nowhere near enough to prevent me from going to work in an hour.

Black Friday is usually my favorite day of the year but I'm just not feeling it this year. Eight hours and 12 minutes until I can go home. I hope it snows overnight so I can call off tomorrow.

I got home at 4:00 today. It's now almost 6 and this whole time there has been a persistent low rumbling noise. When I was outside, it sounded like a helicopter hovering. From inside it sounds like a truck idling. But for two hours?

My mom likes to watch QVC a lot & every week I set the DVR to record the shows she wants to see. A few weeks ago I noticed that the description of one of the shows said there was going to be festive dancing and I thought that was weird, so I asked her if there's ever dancing. There is not. BUT THEN!

My mom is from a very small town about 3 hours from here. Both her and my dad's families lived there for generations (and some relatives still do). When I'm packing orders at work, I always like to see where I'm sending them. Today I sent an order to that small town...to a road that shares a name

Two local meteorologists have their winter weather forecasts out and both are tentatively expecting a white Christmas this year! Those are rare even though only an inch on the ground is enough to qualify it as a white Christmas.

Well I managed to piss off a whole line of customers by telling them I can't ring them up because I'm not trained on the new registers. I'm sure I could figure it out but I didn't want to. I haven't rung a single transaction in over 2 years and I don't plan to. I'm not ending up on The List again.

I spent 2 hours tonight watching my little town's most recent board meeting. There's been some drama on the town FB page lately and a bunch of people were going to attend the meeting and speak, so I was curious how it went. (Curious = nosy because none of it has anything to do with me.)
