Which is a medical training problem, not a patient problem. So maybe fix that instead of telling people to do something that's both often unhealthy and not possible (rapid/significant weight loss) -before- letting them access care.

And no, in most cases things are not more dangerous just because of body size, and when it is, it's often because doctors and techs are not trained to provide care to larger bodies, not that the larger bodies themselves cause increased risk.

My villain origin story will be doctors denying medical & fertility care to patients due to body size. Fat people deserve quality medical care. Fat people deserve fertility care & reproductive justice. This should not be controversial.
