These cuts would devastate our housing system statewide. For Alliance, it would mean rents at Minnehaha Commons will no longer be affordable and services at Kyle Garden Square would be cut to the bone. In both cases, currently housed Minneapolis neighbors will be pushed into homelessness. 2/

A new article from @minnpost.bsky.social discussing the crisis in affordable housing is out. This one highlights our difficult decision to sell a building in order to protect all our other ones.

Minnesota must find an answer to the issue of skyrocketing costs. The sooner the better.

Another look at the issue from the Pioneer Press. As noted here, the issues are particularly severe where permanent supportive housing is involved. These buildings are home to our neighbors with the most need.
