I remember buying my first blu-ray player back in 2008 and thinking that it was a shame we’d probably never see the Universal Monsters films in HD. 17 years later I somehow have 5 copies of Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein.

I liked Fantastic Four well enough, but mostly it’s just nice to finally see Galactus. However, as much as I hated cloud Galactus when I left that midnight screening 18 years ago, I thinks Rise of the Silver Surfer might have gotten the Surfer a little better. I refuse to double check that though.

The internet gets a lot of well deserved flack these days, but it kicks ass that we can just look up a band’s discography and timeline now. I remember trying to piece the Sabbath eras together from a handful of BMG Music catalogs and coming to some wild conclusions.
