You know what to do.

Man, I dunno. Sometimes you just have to be up really early and stare at trees for a while.

Pastina. Boil little pasta shapes (I like alphabet noodles) in good chicken stock/bone broth with a little butter and black pepper until very soft. Whisk in an egg if you like. Take off heat. Grate in Parmesan and stir.

Great for when you’re really not okay, but need to eat anyway.

Shakshouka. Onions, peppers, garlic in a pan. Cook down. Add a can of diced tomatoes, tomato paste, cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt. Cook down. Make wells in the sauce and crack in 5-6 eggs. Sprinkle feta, cilantro, parsley on top. Cover. Cook until eggs are poached. Serve with bread.

Hell yeah, Saskatoon.

This fucking slaaaaaaps. 10/10. And in my face in less than fifteen minutes in a single pan! Extra good with the egg. I had Cotija cheese in the fridge, so this was perfect. Thank you for sharing.
