Views and opinions are my own.
It does seem very much like @govpritzker.illinois.gov might be full of shit when it comes to his staged photo ops. I'm sure he'll have a great explanation for the cameras.

But, the ability to discharge is completely within the discretion of the state once the federalization ends. While the state may not be able to prosecute for crimes committed during federalization, they can absolutely discharge once federalization ends. That's been settled for over a century.

Once they are no longer under federal control, they are no longer under UCMJ. Sorry for your loss.

The Governor should inform his troops in Illinois that if they follow these types of orders, when they are returned to Illinois authority, they will be dishonorably discharged.

If the Fire Department orders something torn down and it's not torn down, the Fire Department generally has the authority to remove it themselves. What are they waiting for?

At this point, we need to know the identities of those security guards who are just standing there.

This POS has apparently been assaulting people regularly in this facility. Those security guards should have already trespassed him from the facility. And yes, he can be trespassed even as an agent.

Why?
September 21, 2025 at 7:52 PM
Maybe @schumer.senate.gov should write a strongly worded 17 point letter. That'll get it done. 😂😂😂😂

If a steward of any cultural institution needs outside pressure to do right things, they are wholly unqualified to be stewards. Stewardship fundamentally requires moral character, which inherently demands doing the right thing even when no one is looking, let alone demanding it.

A lot of the laws are actually already in place; they just need to be properly enforced, especially when schools purposely and recklessly place children's identities into the cybersphere in order to provision them with online accounts on platforms known to be filled with truly harmful content.
September 20, 2025 at 11:44 PM
Ironically, one of the greatest true threats to children's online safety comes from the very institutions created to prepare our children for adulthood: schools. And the best way to protect children remains the very persons schools have been actively undermining for years on this issue: parents.

This is a serious question: do they actually truly believe we're in the culture war they've been drumming up? Or do certain self-interested persons merely recognize they can manipulate others by taking advantage of their normal orientations by controlling what they most frequently observe?

That's why they want so desperately to change the textbooks. That's also what the last round of fascists did. They spent a lot of effort changing what children learned and didn't learn.

Call up your own troops and defend your state. Give the wives of Trump's weekend warriors lifetime benefits.

None of that world salad mumbo jumbo makes any sense. Goodbye.
August 12, 2025 at 7:52 PM
No, it's not. They knew what they were signing up to do. They've known from the beginning. Have you ever been recruited by our military? Sat through the recruitment process? Signed your name on the line? Didn't think so.

So, he's claiming that drinking and smoking on a porch is a "violent crime"? Tell him to get his jackboot off the stairs to the porch and get his ass back on the public sidewalk.

As an American citizen against whom your Guardsman are engaging in an act of terrorism and war, I hope this has devastating effects on them, their families, and workplaces.

I hope it breaks all of them. I hope it has lasting and devastating impacts equal to or greater than the harms they cause.
August 12, 2025 at 1:33 PM
Every Guardsman also voluntarily committed to become a jackboot willing to leave their wives and children to oppress their fellow citizens under a false notion of honor and service that has been disproven for decades in which power and authority have fully replaced service and social protection.

Still a declaration of war by the US Army against civilians. They should be treated accordingly. And every one of them should know that they will not be enjoying pensions or benefits after leaving the military. Those discharges will be changed to dishonorable in a heartbeat.
August 12, 2025 at 12:19 AM
So, he declared war on DC. Residents should respond accordingly.
August 11, 2025 at 9:27 PM
Well, if there's good news in that, it's probably that the average pro se litigant is probably much more competitive against this federal government than prior administrations. They might not have the deep pockets of these large firms, but are probably just as likely to win.
