When I grew up, I lived in a house that spoke Yiddish. Next door was a family that spoke Italian. I have lived next-door to people who speak Spanish, Urdu, German, and English. All our great neighbors and when we or they moved, they were missed. Most everyone also spoke English or we’re learning

It is hard to believe that they had a 50-50 vote on Pete Hegseth and in order to break advance has to vote and he’s not there. What happens if he doesn’t show up? How long do they wait for him? Will they wait all night?

And then it will be canceled. The tax preparation companies haven’t been paying their lobbyist all that money for no reason.
A little news from this hearing: Bessent commits that the IRS Direct File program allowing taxpayers to file directly online with the IRS, a target of GOP attacks, will be available and operable this tax season.

Someone created a starter pack of comedians. The jokes are pretty good. The only problem is, it is hard to tell what is a joke and what is a serious post.

So, Matt Gates resigned from Congress after being nominated for Attorney General. However, he was reelected this November. Does that mean he can get sworn in for the new term in January?
