Who will help us spread the word?

Who wants to help shape the vision?

Language learning must not become a luxury for the few.

This kind of joyful, motivational, culture-rich learning shouldn’t rely only on grassroots/community support - it needs top-down support, from:
- Government
- cultural institutes
- global companies
- education foundations
- and everyone else with global vision.
THE TIME IS NOW!

This term we brought immersive experiences to 100s of state school kids via 360°VR, food, realia. The spark was real:
“People actually speak French!"
"Spanish markets are so cool!"
"I wanna go to that fiesta. Do kids really get to do that?"

Curiosity. Connection. Confidence.

"Less than half choose languages at GCSE and most of those who do are the most affluent", Vicky Gough of @britishcouncil.bsky.social - yet language learning so valuable - for work, travel, personal development, and for the UK (trade, diplomacy, security). "It's also learning cultural skills"

And now I strive to instil this same passion in kids and people of all ages, by creating immersive experiences that 'transport' them to destinations in Germany and other German-speaking countries, to the food, culture, people, all without leaving the UK! A taster of what and why! #ShoutOutForGerman

My next involvement with German was to teach it, which I've absolutely loved. Kids really get into German. They can feel it, touch it, enjoy pronouncing it! I've even rewarded completing tasks by sharing some of those super long words to decode, it's that fun! #ShoutOutForGerman
