Today is fluffing the Christmas tree & putting up the non-kid ornaments up high. Then tonight, Oscar wants to help decorate, so fun!

Today is fluffing the Christmas tree & putting up the non-kid ornaments up high. Then tonight, Oscar wants to help decorate, so fun!

Ugh, ped doc couldn’t get the sutures out of toddlers lip. Back to the ER we go tomorrow. At least toddler was treated for a surprise ear infection. I’m hoping we are all healthy by Christmas.

I got whatever cold my kids have had the last 2 weeks. They didn’t test positive for strep but I’m going to go in to the minute clinic to double check. This really sucks.

This week is bringing on the Christmas Magic; cleaning and organizing then decorating. Hoping to be done by Friday.
We already organized and cleaned the tv/playroom. So that feels awesome! Donating a lot of newborn toys we no longer need.
Starting out well.

Ugh, had to update my weather app to not death blare critical weather alert when I’m sleeping. Happened 3 times last night for snow. It’s Minnesota of course there is snow. Back to sleep while I can.

Ok, today is the day I’m making pie crust for all of the pies. I’ll bake one for the French Silk so that will be done for tomorrow’s baking day.

So I just tried doing a head count for which pies everyone wants for Thanksgiving and it utterly failed. Plus they added another pie type.

This is a rough week. Both boys have viral strep that can’t be treated with antibiotics. So we get the joy of waiting it out because they are contagious until they no longer have fevers. Send healing vibes. Uffda.

Got both boys’ haircuts today. Oscar was a champ with his ice cream and Bluey as a distraction. Russell was good with the clippers but not the buzzer. Hoping no tears next time.
