The past owner of my house had a pot of cosmos outside that I would water whenever I could before the house closing to keep them alive. They rewarded me with a late fall bloom. Since they'll freeze on Monday I cut them to decorate my table when my mother comes over for dinner tonight

Some pretty serious damage on the bedside tables but I think I can just strip, sand, and refinish the tops. Or I could paint the tops black maybe as a last resort

Thoroughly washed inside and out with Murphy's Oil Soap and now in situ. My first little project will be to see if I can fill that gash on the chifforobe door and match it to the surrounding grain. If I fail, well, that piece cost me about $10, so

People are always like why don't you get enough sleep and it's because at 11 PM last night I was using Python scripts to generate an isometric contour map of Pittsburgh from USGS elevation data so my pen plotter could draw the topography of my daily commute
