As someone who has never intentionally stolen anything, who didn’t watch a PG-13 movie until my late teens, or a rated R movie until I was 20, it couldn’t have been a weirder person for the system to go off on.

I love self-checkouts but it’s kinda funny when you are innocently purchasing a Grinch sweater and an old family friendly DVD and the computer thinks you are committing theft and underage movie watching. 😆

The checkout also alerted them when I folded a sweater. Apparently the system thinks you are folding something into the sweater when you do that. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyway, it was funny because I was using the self-checkout and it wouldn’t let me purchase it without an employee verifying that I was over the age of 17. She jokingly asked “are you over the age of 17; old enough to watch a children’s movie?” 😆

I have a small heater in my room, layers of clothes with bedsheets, and a hot drink before bed. I can close my eyes and pretend I live somewhere covered in snow and hills.

I’m just disappointed. That seems to be a common emotion of mine these days not just in politics or religion, but in a lot of areas.

I don’t understand how that cognitive dissonance can exist. How can you tell a heart wrenching story about a young boy who died from fascism then turn around and associate your brand with Christian Nationalism? Are the similarities that challenging to identify?

I was excited to see more of their films if they were going to be along the same lines, but today I had to unfollow them after seeing an ad for their service having a paid promotion by the Kirk foundation.

I point out the location because I am 5 foot and I can’t reach it to remove it in any capacity. Also, it’s hiding again so maybe I can pretend I never saw it. *stares at the shelf I saw it disappear behind*
