Another birthday quilt. The beautiful Exploding Heart pattern. And almost delivered on time! Now it's on to the Christmas quilts. #quiltsky

Missing my silly girl extra hard today. 🐈

You can see a little kitty smile on her face. The same diluted calico cat all curled up. She's wearing a blue sock on her head this time. Her belly is probably full of gravy and she is content. The same cat, this time sock-free. She is laying on the same woman again, this time with her paw across the woman's mouth. She's trying to sleep and will have no noise disturb her.

The final niece quilt is done! Pink as hell. And only a week late!

This was my design. It was pretty simple though. 270 of 2.5" squares and 270 of 10.5" x 2.5" strips. I sewed a square on to each strip, then laid it out in five different chunks to figure out how I wanted it put together.
Strips of red, orange and purple cloth with black squares sewn on the end. They are laid out to try and figure out the way the final quilt will look. The block of reds, oranges and purples now sewn together. Lots of strips of colorful cloth with black squares sewn onto the ends of them.

Finished another quilt top. This one is for a dear friend. She's been with me through thick and thin, and also introduced me and my husband many years ago. She also already knows exactly what this looks like because I absolutely cannot keep this thing a secret. #quiltsky

Next niece quilt done. Still needs a final wash, but I love how it turned out. Definitely seeing a lot of improvement on my actual quilting skills.

On a very related note, mom bought a Bernina Q16 and I'm going to go play with it today. #quiltsky
