My needlepoint design - “freedom” stitched and finished with sequins. The ability for women to choose how many children they want and when to have them - if at all - is a human right. It is also central to women’s empowerment, reducing poverty and achieving sustainable development.

We have blue skies this morning, but a winter storm warning for this evening. I’m craving plowable snow but I think we’re only getting a dusting. My oldest returns to college this morning so my heartache is notable. I’m going to work on my needlepoint & listen to my audio book and try not to cry.💙
