I’m watching A Princess Bride and I’m reminded that all the little fun facts I know about the making of this movie I learned from Carey Elwes’s book, As You Wish. It was recorded with several members of the cast and Rob Reiner, and they each contribute their stories on the audio, it’s incredible!

We are all rewatching Pushing Tin (1999) with John Cusack, right? 90 seconds is a long time!

Extremely fortunate to have seen the outstanding cast of Glengarry Glen Ross last night - Bob Odenkirk, Kieran Culkin, Bill Burr, Michael McKean, Donald Webber Jr, John Pirruccello, and Howard Overshown. All incredibly impressive! BRAVO!!

Vaccines don’t cause autism, but the very premise that we would rather kids be dead than autistic is disgusting…

Trying to escape into my audiobook. So far the book is⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, but I don’t think the narrator is right and it’s pulling ne out of the story. What do you think, BookSky? Time to pick up the print or stick it out?

I need recommendations for a new #audiobook! Nothing too serious. Fiction. Preferably fantasy. YA welcome. Comedy encouraged. Nothing with an evil dictator who has money for wars but not for school lunches. #BookSky

All right, What’s your #booksdna? The novels that were formative to you. At least four! (I had a hard time narrowing it down!)

Finally watched the Martha Stewart Netflix documentary and I can’t stop thinking about it, or her. Have you seen it??

I’m not shy about blocking, but there are a few sneaky trolls here. They have the right handle, bio, and follow list, but are just slightly too argumentative or intolerant. Not enough to be reported, but enough that if we were at a party, I’d excuse myself to get more cheese.

Watching people recording themselves at home BELTING Defying Gravity, and I’m simply in awe. I am the tone-deaf sidekick, if I could sing a lick in any way humanly possible I would…

If you don’t know who Jay Graber is, you will. She’s the woman behind Blue Sky.

Everyone’s talking about it. In just the past week, Bluesky’s user base has exploded, more than doubling to over 16 million as people scramble for an alternative to X, Facebook, and Threads.

If you’re wondering what my politics are, I offer three fun facts about me:

1. I read a lot
2. I actively seek out books written by people who don’t look like me and/or had different foundational experiences
3. I don’t vote with those who restrict, ban, or burn books

Yes, books are political
