Snapshots of a busy weekend: lobster boat travel, candlelight coziness, beaching in the chill, planting strawberries and fruit trees, cold dog is cold like her mama after getting soaked by rain. The rhubarb flowering is beautiful. ☺️

Adventures in ILS: today a participant and I went fishing and next to the river were a plethora of yellow trout lilies ♥️♥️

Back to our happy place☺️ Walked the beach yesterday and counted about 8 baby seal cadavers as well as one eagle. Not sure why so many on this one beach, possibly just washed up in storms. Despite rain, the sun made appearances enough to make being outside enjoyable. Lots of peepers chirping, too.

Happy fluff nugget on his tower now that it's in what he feels is an optimal location. Daphne mezereum making me so happy with it's beauty and fragrance every year.

Happy little tomato babies! Amish Paste tomato variety. Three 'greenhouse' containers working their magic on hibiscus seeds and Yellow Wonder alpine strawberry seeds. The strawberry seeds were a gift included in a seed order from Garden Faery Botanicals.

Monday was amazing, weather-wise, so we took the dogs for a ramble at the 'Merb (Melmerby Beach, NS). The water was so pretty in shades of green. It was breezy but not cold. The girls were beyond happy to run and play and check out the water
