That’s fantastic exercise, very much NOT pointless, and if It’s what you can manage pretty consistently, it is very much the “right” amount. There is no point aiming for the generic “ideal” amount of exercise if a) it’s never going to happen or b) doing it will break you for the foreseeable future.

Nope. I was deeply disturbed when Steve Irwin did it for tv in the 90s and in my mid-40s, now a diver, it still horrifies me. Many sea creatures are naturally curious and there are plenty of amazing shots and special interactions to get without harassment.

The -12 is net favourability not a drop in favourability - they didn’t report on whether that was up, down or stable, only that Seymour’s -12 was a drop of 8 😁

10.25-10.50. There was an earlier bout, and then we sat and waited for two hours with nothing except that cloud of green, and then it took off quite suddenly.

South coast of Wellington NZ looking south across Cook Strait (this is aurora australis, southern lights. Aurora are unusual for us here, though much more common in the South Island.
