On an entirely different note from auroras, I befriended a seahorse today. At least I thought I did, but I don’t think the seahorse agreed.

Nearly gave up after just sitting staring at a very static green arc for two hours, and then suddenly it was all go, send visible to the naked eye.

Been getting up close and personal with the underwater critters again. They are just so curious, and so calm.

It took some time but I’d like to milk some sympathy from this bruise, it covers more than half my lower leg.
It’s a leg. It has a bruise. The bruise is big, ugly and blotchy, and covers all of the shin, a good chunk of calf and below the ankle bone. It’s big enough to deserve sympathy. Same bruise. Extends across shin and down other side of calf. More sympathy warranted, please and thank you.

Kiddo asked to do a horse trek for all of us this summer and we managed to choose the best weekend of January so far. I don’t know how I gave birth to a horsey kid but I’m glad because it’s the second trek we’ve been on an I loved it.
