I don’t have to fend off the desire to comply in advance. Anyone who knows me knows that, fortunately or unfortunately, I would rather die than let someone I don’t respect tell me what to do.

If I could read one book again for the first time it would always, always be Ella Enchanted. Delighted to write about my love for Gail Carson Levine

Starting a new social media app with a little baby is intimidating...like, I don't think I know how to be quippy or clever anymore.

Finally watched The Beanie Bubble movie & I thought it was a delight (not just because I got excited whenever I saw a Beanie Baby I had growing up)

Every few years, I go on NetGalley, request way too many books, and then remember why I forced myself to quit NetGalley last time.

Solidarity and congratulations to the WGA on reaching a tentative agreement. I was on strike for 25 days last year and it was so hard. I am so impressed and inspired with their 146 days of solidarity & hard work.

Had my covid/flu shot cancelled for the 2nd weekend in a row! But maybe next week, the third time will be the charm (crossing my fingers but not holding my breath)

Welcome to Bluesky. We have rules here:

1. We're happy, free, confused, and lonely at the same time
2. It's miserable and magical
3. Tonight's the night when we forget about the deadlines
4. It's time
Welcome to Bluesky. We have rules here:

1. Oh yeah
2. All right
3. Take it easy baby
4. Make it last all night
Welcome to Bluesky. We have rules here:

1. We can dance if we want to
2. We can leave your friends behind
3. 'Cause your friends don't dance
4. And if they don't dance
5. Well they're no friends of mine
