I should have explained what people were up in arms about: they thought the post was politica
l (what isn't political?) and the poster was a fear-mongering liberal. The conversation, like so many involving my fellow Americans, quickly devolved.

Someone on the Ancestry FB page asked about this and people had a hissy fit! Now it appears that the post and all the responses have been taken down.
