The issue at hand is oil and gas wastewater treatment and discharge to rivers/streams/groundwater, which the WQCC extremely recently determined should not be allowed. Big Oil immediately initiated a new rulemaking to reverse this ban. @govmlg.bsky.social was busted corrupting the process:
