Having a lovely time at Ty Newydd, Literature Wales's writing centre in Llanystumdwy, Gwynedd. Lovely tutees, lovely fellow tutor @vaseemkhanuk.bsky.social & beautiful surroundings. This is the path down to the most important part of the whole centre - the kitchen and hall where everything happens!

Just spent the bank holiday reading this (when I should have been writing, but hey, everybody needs a day off now and then) and it is BRILLIANT! If you don't know @vaseemkhanuk.bsky.social's work, then you have a treat in store - not just this but all the Malabar House books AND Inspector Chopra!

Had a fabulous time on Saturday seeing the Abba concert which was my birthday present last year from my family - the whole experience (bar a technical delay at one point) was amazing. I hadn't realised until we got there that the entire arena was purpose-built for these concerts!

I was sad when her podcast with Gyles Brandreth, Something Rhymes with Purple, came to an end, but lately she's popped up on Radio 4's new comedy show, Unspeakable, with @wangpix which is both funny and feeds my etymology nerdiness!

The first in my Oxford Mysteries series featuring fearless Welsh feminist Non Vaughan & her partner in crime, closeted gay don (don't judge him, it's the 1880s) Basil Rice, has won an Earphones award from AudioFile Magazine 😀
