É muito bonitinho! Tem umas partes muito fantásticas, mas tem umas partes nas quais as formigas agem como formigas mesmo. A joaninha é quem conduz a narrativa e o comportamento dela é o que mais diverge do natural.

Quem assistiu Bee Movie, Formiguinhaz e Vida de Inseto, nota que eles usam insetos para criticar sistemas sociais rígidos, mas não conseguem abandonar a própria lógica que querem questionar. Acabam presos em um paradoxo narrativo.

We could have been talking about art and stories and the things students like or respond to, but instead we have to devote all this time and oxygen toward sussing out how to get students to engage with material again. It’s stealing all our time while also stealing all our art and labor.

Another thing—I was recently at a dinner with educators and authors put on by my publisher to talk about our books, but instead we all talked about (and ironed out) the ways this tech is adversely impacting classrooms and what to do about it. It leaves no room for much else.

It kinda pressures people to pretend they’ve known everything about it all along to prove they’re part of the zeitgeist. I hear about it this way from a lot of older folks who use it like a search engine. They think it’s Old Google but more personable.
