This is not to toot my own horn. But it is to say that Allison Mack's mug ought to sit next to the Funk & Wagnall's dictionary definition of "white devil".

Evil can be smart. Abuse can look like kindness. We are all vulnerable to falling into cult thinking.

Never forget that. Always be cautious.

I'm so used to evil being stupid. It's engaging to watch Allison Mack talk empathically about prison reform and go "Oh, she's planning her next cult". She's using kindness so deftly to gain power so she can do this all over again.

I forgot evil could have finesse. It's almost nice to be impressed?

And while I'm doling out the ol' dime store wisdom: getting older does grant experiential knowledge -- provided you actually experience things. But age also means being out of touch sometimes. Maybe even a lot of the time!

Never mistake being obstinate for having lived long enough to know better.

To be sure, the only reason I learned this tactic is because I have often been the dummy but reactively, wrongly, and loudly thought I was the smartest.

That is, it turns out, not sustainable. Either you gain the wisdom of patience or you wind up very lonely with only yourself to blame.

He also currently identifies that this episode is going to get a lot more listens than the average. Yeah, man. You are interviewing a notably evil person who just got out of jail after only two years FOR THE CLICKS.

That's why you're interviewing her!

Michael Rosenbaum actually utters the phrase, "sometimes good people do bad things".

In the intro, he tells people to judge the interview however they want and I gotta believe some part of him knows a lot of people are going to be understandably upset.

Allison Mack really said there are things people say about her that are undeserved. Honey, what you are guilty of, there is nothing anyone could say that is undeserved.

I see how she got to be who she is. Not a victim. But a perpetrator. She's a masterful manipulator of therapy language. Real scum.

I admittedly haven't gotten much further because she reads as so minimally repentant that it's difficult to watch.

Looking to raise $4 million, too. Like, bitch, I'm rooting for you, but that body contouring better break the internet, that's all I can say.

Um. This is a little awkward but your response accidentally (I'm really hoping it was an accident) has a slur in it. Could we maybe delete this post and resubmit it without that word?
