A TON of stuff that I love is here, no doubt about that at all; action and fanservice is top notch
But the center theme is just so weirdly anti-immigrant for some reason and it sucks
DCU fans are weird abt it too

Yeah it does woobify and water down the more serious parts of its cast, but later on makes up for it by being able to balance its slice of life with genuine character moments

Short and sweet, but I do honestly long for a lot more from this. Even with the great voice acting and 1960s aesthetic I do feel like it just doesn't do Darwyn Cooke's art any justice at all
