You have to fund the data centers so that the oligarchs can deploy AI bots and move you to a lower paying job, with employer controlled healthcare so you can't leave, and you have no options or bargaining power.

But hey - you'll be happy pushing buttons to train more AI bots.

Producers are entering a world where they will have to segment micro-markets - subscriptions and advertising revenues will become the driver (so, profiling and deposable personal income will too).

Owning the customer is the game - so, vertical platforms have major strategic advantage.

Just saw her on CNBC - really good perspective on AI - like she almost understands - that's refreshing.

I got his cover of "All Along the Watchtower" in my top 10 Rock recordings of all time.

I'm not going to take the time, but I bet Nano Banana would kick that one back if I tried it (known public and political people will throw a policy gen stop. Children too).

We were talking about 'Bugonia' and Emma, last night. Definitely on the list.

'Sentimental Value' is an excellent film - saw that last night.

Good observation.

I would have preferred an Indie screen, TBH. The vibe is just more in tune with these films. There are 10+ around me - love them all. Easier access too.

Noticed a lot of MUBI in the previews, so they're doing their targeting - good.

My town turns out for films. But usually not foreign films at AMCs. Foreign films are usually an outing at one of the Indies. This was a ‘Mall AMC’ to boot - so that was the surprise to me.

I’m chalking it up to Skarsgård - legend status here. I loved Reinsve In that role ❤️. Casting was stellar.

The writing and acting are sublime. Absolutely wonderful film experience. I'm still trying to appreciate the editing... and I will.

Got a lot of applause at the end. Theatre was crowded too.

re. "but certainly isn't her best work". What do you have in mind here?

I thought there was a small chance, a decade ago, when US Presidential debates actually discussed climate issues. The rise of populism globally has killed any hope I had.

The effects will be really bad. Really bad.

...I think about this when see her at Dodger stadium. Pretty often - she's a minority owner.

Could have been. Let's remember that Musk spent 100M on swing state canvassing, driven by competent data analysis. Why doesn't someone audit and find out how they did it?

I'm not wasting time and money to Dem campaigns that don't know how to find and persuade Indies - and that's all about the data.

Quite the accomplishment, hey?

If professors in Texas would like to teach science again, they can check openings at UC. CA would to have them.

That's a good take. I'm interested to see how opinions on MS-NOW trend, now that they're untethered to Comcast. They may be the most important voice.
November 21, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Trumpworld and the Saudi’s will be controlling half of the film, cable, streaming and news content. Add in Musk and Zuck, and they’ll also control 90% of social media. And that’s just a start - Comcast dumped MSNBC and donated to the ballroom so they could play too.

Some states have a program to pay med school for students in rural counties as long as the return and practice there. We need that on a national scale. If we don't get kids rolling through med school, Medicare for Everybody will crash and burn.

How much would that increase patient load? Where are the doctors coming from?

We have a physician shortage of 100k, and physicians are pushed to the limit now.

Planning healthcare without doctors is stupid, and it will take decades to fill the gap.

Need compressive solutions - not complaints.

What does Khashoggi and Epstein have in common?
November 18, 2025 at 4:28 PM
…and the information Trump was trying to hide by having Epstein ”commit suicide”, is the reason Trump is Putin‘s lap dog. So obvious.
