You would think the person who said they've been in a long COVID study would know that.

The framing “it’s unreasonable to ask me to mask” reminds me of climate change discussions - “it’s unreasonable to ask for net zero” etc - bc ppl think of the politics as more “real” than the science. Sometimes things are hard or unfair but reality and science don’t care

This is a really disappointing take. The research on COVID has been consistent on how damaging COVID is, even w/ healthy people. Utilizing masking in public spaces protects you and everyone around you. I think most maskers aren't asking for perfection, just to utilize masking more in indoor spaces.

I feel this completely 🫂 I just lost my only in-person support and the anxiety I'm experiencing is palpable.
