We get a lot of Stellers by us, and they bring us so much joy.

It has taken me a long time to get here, but now I love the process. Or, _for now_ I love the process. We'll see.

But it's much more fun to be excited by the process than to be constantly discouraged. Your submission system helped me get here!

Really, I think this comes down to celebrating every little victory you can. And waiting instead of getting an immediate rejection is a little victory in itself.

Of course, I think Ben was talking more about novels, and that's a totally different story.

Right now I've got two stories out that are doing well. One that has been sent on to the editor in chief and one that seems to have passed to the next round (based on time / meticulously watching the Submission Grinder). And it's fun! Go, stories, go! The odds are still low, but the hope is strong.

Hey! Doing well. How are you?

Oh well. Maybe there will be a resurgence of local, in-person singing. When I lived in New York (feels like a million years ago now), we used to do sing-alongs in someone's apartment. He played his gorgeous piano, and we brought our little ukuleles and just had so much fun. I miss that kind of fun.

Fair. I've never been to an in-person writing con, but I'm hoping to make one eventually, and I might have prioritized one if there was singing involved.

I have been going to the virtual WisCons, but virtual roundsings seem difficult or at least less fun.
