I do not embrace "knitworthy." If you choose to knit for someone, the piece is theirs. In spite of time, expense, washing instructions and intentions, it no longer belongs to you. You have chosen to make it a gift. It's not yours. You've done your part.

Phew. On the last pair of socks for one of the sons. 10th annual fishing trip way north. He treks with lads I've known since they were in highschool together. He just had to mention that everyone had sock envy and even though they all seem to have yeti sized feet...
