just had a 5 minute "reasearch tangent" from reading The History of Male Homosexuality and trying to work out where I know the name Krafft-Ebing from...turns out it's a line of dialogue in Company. Everything I know I have learned from musicals.

Just finished and absolutely loved @sophieduncan.bsky.social's Searching For Juliet - so interesting, so tragic, so wild at points (looking at you, Theophilus Cibber?!) and so engagingly written - the love for the subject really shines! Big recommend for anyone even vaguely interested in Shakespeare
