Too many people act like life is just happening to them when they're clearly letting it. Don't act like you don't have agency. Some people really don't have agency and you're dishonoring them for fawning when you could rip off that bandaid. Gosh.

The best decision for yourself and your family is the decision that makes you feel like you're doing your best, whatever that means for you. Don't drag others up or down to justify your own decisions.

Amazing how many people project their failures as "impossible anyways" when it's totally okay to not be able to do it. Don't blame the people who can pull it off when you chose not to.

Adding many months later that I think it's okay to be a creationist and a scientist bc beliefs give people hope and that's all good but basing your *skill training* on something unproven is particularly harmful to your ability to learn said skill
