Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth are GUILTY OF WAR CRIMES! And, common law murder!

I thought Bluesky was a refuge for true Americans to organize a resistance and break the stranglehold of money on our democracy. I appreciate most of the folks on here but whatever faith I ever had in humanity is mostly gone. Can someone pick up my mood and encourage me to stay?

Man, this shit ain’t easy. We gotta stay with it. We’re winning! And if we aren’t, we still gotta stay with it!

It’s this way throughout the federal government. There needs to be a truth and reconciliation commission when this coup is defeated.

Political economists note a recurring pattern:

Societies tend to move from productive capitalism to financialized capitalism to rentier dominance to decline.

Each cycle ends when the powerful extract rents — through finance, property, or imperial control. Donald Trump is a rentier wannabe king.

NY Times - “A growing number of Republicans on Capitol Hill have raised concerns about President Trump’s expanding war against drug cartels … in a campaign whose legal basis remains murky.”

Murky? It’s cold-blooded murder and a war crime. We need to be morally and legally clear.

Let’s skip the immediate future and get to this:

We, the People of the United States—having endured a period of unlawful rule, the suppression of constitutional government, and the violation of fundamental rights—do hereby reassert our sovereignty and restore the supremacy of the Constitution.

1. Does anyone know of a good law firm providing pro bono or contingency work to displaced or severely threatened federal workers?

2. If one has direct evidence of violations federal laws by the Trump Administration where does one report it? The IGs and other oversight bodies have been neutered.

When leaders operate without checks and balances, the rule of law breaks down.

Decisions like military strikes made unilaterally, often illegally.
lead to loss of legitimacy. Such overreach can spiral into collapse of state institutions and then mass atrocities.

You can’t compare Trump to Napoleon or Genghis Khan. Some say Hitler, Why not Pol Pot? Is it anti-Asian bias?

I think he most closely resembles Idi Amin. Both used executive overreach, human rights violations, and unaccountable leadership. I think this fits. He’s a shit-hole leader after all

Moral Q: Strikes ordered so far by Trump involve far fewer deaths than the acts of Hitler or Pol Pot but represent illegal use of force without due process.

Trump’s acts are murder and war crimes. Hitler and Pol Pot committed genocide.

How far will Trump be allowed to go? What are his bounds?

From the Atlantic: “Officials have defied ethics guidelines, with blatantly partisan out-of-office messaging and banners blaming Democrats for the shutdown splashed across government websites.” “Ethics guidelines,” how about laws?

Stop sugarcoating it! Trump is not breaking norms. He is breaking laws, violating the constitution, violating international law, committing war crimes and orchestrating murders!
