My level was just above 15 and I had immediate improvement in exhaustion afterwards, no side effects yet 🤞 That’s a bit worrying you had a bad reaction to it though, did the doctor not have anything to say about that.

I’d go get a blood test first. Mine was low enough I’ve got to take 40,000 iu weekly for several months so that had to be prescribed. If yours is quite low you may need and strong dose to get it up to a good level as Vit D has a very short half life in the body.

I put off going to the GPs as I’ve had too many terrible interactions with them. I was lucky to get a kind GP who listened to me and asked for blood tests. need to go back for more help, but it’s a relief that I’m able to get out of bed at the weekend and not immediately need to lay down again
